monday morning randoms

Pictures: WeHeartIt

Good Monday morning everyone!

Yesterday was good, we ignored the fact that is was a blizzard outside and made it to the marked. It was freezing! Unfortunately I didn't find any gifts there but Ulla found the coolest pillow for her couch so it was not all in vein!
After the marked we enjoyed a pistachio milkshake and a Club Sandwich at The Nighthawk Diner. I am not kidding - they serve the best Club Sandwich ever, so if you are ever in Oslo you know where to grab some lunch!

This week I still have a few gifts left on my shopping list and on Saturday we are having a Christmas workshop over at Ulla's place.
Anyone have any tips about something nice and easy I can make?

Wish you all a lovely week!

God mandags morgen!

  1. I love Christmas workshops. My friend used to organize one each year:) The last time we made beaded ornaments for the tree and honey-wax candles...and the year before we made felt stockings.
Have a fantastic Monday, sweetie and stay warm:)

  4. A Christmas workshop? That sounds like so much fun! One ideas is that you could get silk ornaments, the kind with the styrofoam inside (and using a straight pin)you can attach sequins and lace and beads to the silk ornament by stringing them on to the needle and pushing the needle into the ornament. These always turn out so pretty and shiny! I have some that my great grandma made in the 40s and I love them to pieces.

Make sure you take pictures of your party!

  21. I still need to do some Chrismtas shopping, what with Eid and now this wedding I haven't had much of a weekend to go shopping... now on top of it the weather is one that I'm just willing to risk my life getting to work in.

  27. Hey Signe, you did select some gorgeous pictures here! Have you considered working with felt this Saturday? Just cut out hearts, trees, stars and other images and embroider them together. They work as single items in your tree, but also on a garland with some nice ribbon... Good luck!
    Love, Maaike
