Takk for mat lillebror!
Since my younger brother and I just came back from a nice Sunday dinner there this is a good time to open a new chapter in ‘My Oslo’
- which this time is a restaurant on Grünerløkka.
The owner got the inspiration to this restaurant from the Tom Waits album 'Nighthawks at the Diner' and made it as a replica of an American diner. Everything from the interior to the waitresses’ uniforms to the menu reflects that and you even have a jukebox standing in the corner to complete the illusion.
The food is also authentic diner food and you can pick between burgers, sandwiches, T-bone steak or pancakes with syrup and bacon. It all tastes great and as an extra bonus all the food is organic!
If you ever find yourself here I can recommend the Club Sandwich (which comes with the best coleslaw ever!) and a pistachio milkshake. Yummy!
