you don't need much

Here is part two of my brand new series 'how to make it livable with less':
Snag some lilacs from someone’s lawn on the way home from town and put them in an old thermos.
Ta-daaaa!

{ No, that is not really a new series - but it totally could have been *smile* }

  6. A few days ago I snatched an innocent rose that was being thrown away, made it pretty and put it in a vase. She lived for a week. Since then my children have been calling me a flower thief! My 5 y.o. has told everyone at kindergarten that I steal flowers. So much for saving a flower from cruel death ;-)

  12. That takes me back to my childhood as these grew all over the place (I haven't seen any now for years). We used to pick then and then pick each flower off and make necklaces.... I can smell them even now :).

    That Themos is a great idea :)

  21. Hei Signe
    Vakkert! De lyselilla syrinene som er min favoritt når det gjleder syriner var helt nydelige i denne termosen. Kanskje det blir syrinjakt i de stille kveldstimer i dag....
    Ha en glad dag!

  34. You know that the flowers of lilac is one of my favorite flowers? As a child I had two large bushes in the garden of flowers of lilac and spring, were a heady scent! :)
