where the wild things are

This is not really a traditional Friday favorite - but I am sure it will be after tonight!

I just can't wait for this work day to finally be over so me and Cas can jump on the subway over to Ulla to get dinner served and watch the movie 'Where the wild things are'. The movie is an adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic children's story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world - a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler. And I have been dying to see it ever since I saw the trailer for it a while back!

This have been another very busy week at work - and last night I even had a nightmare about being late for a deadline! So I welcome the weekend with all my heart and I can't wait to spend some time over the weekend catching up on some blog reading I have been neglecting and just relaxing with a cup of tea in front of the pooter!

How has your week been? And were you a disobedient kid - just like me and Max?

Big hugs and a happy weekend to you all ♥

  2. I loved this movie - but then I also loved the book with it´s wonderful illustrations as a child. My oldest son thought it was a good movie too, my youngest thought it was a bit scary - and my hubby thought it was just plain weird. :-D

I don´t know if I was that disobedient - but I was a dreamer, sometimes deeply into that instead of reality. :-)
